Hello, Jonathan McDonald here, co-owner along with my wife Sara, of Charleston Wake Surf. Having lived in Charleston, SC now for 4 years, the best part of residing here are all the water activities available. The only thing that it has been missing is a true Wake Sports Charter company like Charleston Wake Surf.

From 1992-2000, I traveled all over the USA and parts of the world, kneeboarding and wakeboarding competing in professional events and also dealer/customer events.

What I enjoyed most about my time as a professional, were the times out on the water with the people I met. It's great seeing the joy in someone when 1st learning to ride or completing that 1st trick they always wanted to do.

Our goal is to provide that same type of fun and enjoyable environment for the guests of Charleston Wake Surf. Wake Surfing and Wake Foiling are the latest wake sports that have energized the water sports market.

Charleston Wake Surf is the premier watersports boat charter company in the Charleston SC area. With the best boat wake boat, the Axis A 24, plus the industry leading boards, and gear equipment such as wake surf boards, wake boards, wake foils from Liquid Force. We will also have kneeboarding & other gear for your enjoyment.

All our charter captains, as well as myself, are USCG licensed and your safety is our #1 priority while you are having fun. We pride ourselves on being a company that allows our guest to have fun, but also in a safe and responsible matter. There is no doubt our guests will have the best experience on the water with what we can offer.
